In short
  • A deal can be in any of about 160 currencies.
  • All totals and dashboards use one main currency.
  • A won deal keeps the exchange rate of the day it was won.

Where: Settings → Currency (admins)

An admin chooses the main currency for reports. This is the reporting currency. Every total, dashboard and forecast uses it.

Try it

In Ordo
  1. Settings
  2. Currency
  3. Add a currency

Type what 1 unit of the new currency is worth in your reporting currency. You set the rates yourself.

How it works

  • On a deal: choose the currency next to the amount. Ordo shows the amount in the reporting currency too, for example €50,000 → $54,000.
  • New deals start in: the currency a new deal uses first. Each rep can change it on the deal.
  • Rates: open deals use today's rate. A won deal keeps the rate of the day it was won, so your won numbers don't change.
  • View in: on a dashboard, see every total in another currency for a moment. This doesn't change any data.
  • Change the reporting currency: Ordo works out every rate again. You don't need to type anything again.

Good to know

  • On the Deals list and board, the Converted to button hides or shows the amounts in the reporting currency.
  • When you import deals in a currency with no rate yet, Ordo asks for the rate first.

Questions

Which currencies does Ordo support?

About 160 currencies. An admin adds the ones your team uses.

Does Ordo update exchange rates by itself?

No. An admin sets each rate by hand, in Settings → Currency. Rates don't change by surprise.
