How it works
- Coming up: the open meetings and tasks.
- Quick recap: one line, saved with today's date. You don't need a subject or a type.
- A day in your recap: words like Friday, tomorrow, in 3 days, end of month or Oct 31. Ordo offers a task for that day.
- More than one line: click ⋯ next to the box. Add files (up to 10 MB each), an earlier date, or the meeting it is about.
- What Ordo adds by itself: meetings and tasks, emails, stage changes, won and lost, new owners and payments. These show as small grey lines.
Reading a timeline
- By month: each month has a heading. Busy weeks sit close together.
- Quiet for 21 days: a gap of 14 days or more shows as a quiet time.
- A company's timeline includes everything from its people and its deals.
- 📎 Files opens all the files on this timeline, by date.
Good to know
- You can change your own recaps later. An admin can change or delete anyone's.
- Only an admin can delete a line from the timeline. The message has Undo. The record under it, for example the stage change, stays in Change history.
- An admin can change the 14 days in Settings → Rules.
Questions
Can I attach a file?
Yes. Click ⋯ next to the recap box and attach files up to 10 MB each. Images and PDFs open in the browser.
Why do I see emails on the timeline?
If you connected Outlook, or saved an email by BCC, Ordo adds the email to the timeline of the person, their company and their deal.
Can I delete something from the timeline?
You can change or delete your own recaps. Only an admin can delete other lines.
