The bell tells you what needs you, and what someone gave you.

Illustration · A warning, dismissed for you
On this page 5 sections
In short
  • The bell at the top shows a number when something needs you.
  • Records that someone gives you come first, with links.
  • Dismiss a warning, and it stays away until something changes.

Try it

In Ordo
  1. The bell, top right
  2. A warning
  3. Dismiss

The warning goes away for you only. Your teammates still see their own warnings.

How it works

  • New for you: records that someone gave you: for example the work of a person who left, or deals a manager moved to you. Each record is a link.
  • Needs attention: warnings from Rules: a company with no contact for a long time, a meeting or task that is overdue, a payment that is late.
  • Mark as seen: click Mark as seen on one notice, or Mark all as seen.
  • Dismiss: a warning you don't need now. It comes back only if something changes, for example if the company stays quiet even longer.

Good to know

  • Admins also see a warning when there is no backup for 2 days, or the last backup failed.
  • Notifications follow the same rules as everything else. You see warnings only about records you can see.

Questions

If I dismiss a warning, does my manager still see it?

Yes. Dismiss hides it only for you.

Can I change when warnings appear?

An admin can change the number of days in Settings → Rules.
